Hence, Paul mimicked Tyson’s famous words from his famous post-fight interview after he defeated Lou Savarese in 38 seconds. Instead of trash talking, Paul is doing provocative mimicry and using Tyson’s own words to hype a ‘brutal battle’.
Raised as a Catholic, Tyson has stated that he converted to Islam before entering prison and that he made no efforts to correct what was reported in the media, although it was falsely reported that he converted to Islam during his time in prison and adopted the Muslim name Malik Abdul Aziz; some sources report it as Malik Shabazz. Tyson never changed his given name to an Islamic one, despite the rumors.
In 1992, Mike Tyson was convicted of rape and sentenced to six years in prison, however, he only served three. He made his comeback in 1995 and by 1996, had already earned back his WBA and WBC titles. Then in 1997, Tyson was stripped of his WBA title and lost his boxing license after the Bite Fight—in which he bit a piece of opponent Evander Holyfield’s ear off. Tyson later returned in 1999 and continued his 5 division boxing champions career until retiring in 2005.
Nevertheless, his girlfriend, Jutta Leerdam, didn’t appear so convinced and persisted that he shouldn’t proceed with it. While Paul did explain how Tyson got his tattoo out of the blue, it happened before a major boxing match in Tyson’s career. While Tyson wanted a different design in the first place, it was the tattoo artist who persuaded him to change it. Let us see how this played out.
Mike and the team go deep into the heartland to help out an old farmer. The mystery is solved rather quickly and the gang is back on the road, but when the Mystery Mobile breaks down, they are forced to spend the night back on the farm. When Pigeon meets the beautiful farmer’s daughter, he and the team are shocked to find out from the farmer that she’s been dead for six years. CHERYL HINES guest stars.
The dead mystery team go inside Diane’s dream realm and find themselves in an almost Disney-esque dream. We find Diane in a Snow White like outfit, going inside her Snow White like cottage where she has sex with…her stepson. This was probably one of the most jaw-dropping, funniest moments of the show. I probably watched this scene like five times on my DVR plus two times live (once on the original airing and the other at like 4:30 AM) and yeah it was just weird. And I liked it. I love all the twists in every Mike Tyson Mysteries episode. This was probably the best moment in the series thus far, way better than Ogopogo and I praised that episode to high heaven last year.
« I’ve been saying it for a while now, ‘You live and you die by the sword.’ Kind of dark, but it’s true, like anything that’s like good in life that you live by and stuff, like you could also die from the same thing, » he explained in a YouTube video.
I’m no expert, just a fascinated artist, but everything I’ve read abut Maori tattoo traditions (« moko ») say that warriors tattooed their whole face, not just some little bit around the eye, and that a big part of the process is enduring the months of painful work required for the full face. I didn’t go back just now to fact-check this little bit but I distinctly remember reading that only priests wore partial tattoos by the eye. Not only did the warriors tattoo the full face, but the designs were incised so deep that the skin became ridged and grooved like a sculpture. In H. G. Robley’s book, Maori Tattooing, first published in 1896 when the tradition was still in general practice, there is not a single example of a man’s face without extensive tattooing.
Unseen in the show is a 1982 incident in which Atlas put a gun to Tyson’s head after the teenage boxer did something untoward to Atlas’ 12-year-old sister-in-law, as David Remnick later reported for the New Yorker. The details remain murky on what exactly happened with the young girl, but Tyson admitted to inappropriate behavior.
One review of the 40-year-old hit film said: « Arguably Martin Scorsese’s and Robert De Niro’s finest film, Raging Bull is often painful to watch, but it’s a searing, powerful work about an unsympathetic hero. »

a man who is both relatable in his humanity and defiantly unique at the same time. He is a performer who is also facing his own emotional opponent in that spotlight. He is learning to love and be loved in return right in front of our eyes.
The ending credit scene features the real Mike Tyson talking about his happy place and it involves Asparagus. I’m allergic to Asparagus though so, I can never eat that. Next week’s episode features Snoop Dogg and I’m going to try and be as drunk as possible just to sit through it.
